Video Camera Current Drain

In the hardware Wiki (http://www.cmucam.org/wiki/Hardware) the video camera is shown as drawing 25 mA. But the manufacturer states 80 mA (http://www.comedia.com.hk/fp2007/Spec_PDF/c3088.pdf).

What is the correct value?

    We have noticed that the current depends on the rate at which you are clocking data in and out of the chip. The 25mA number was based on measurements we did with the AL4V8M440. I would bet the chip does consume 80mA if running at its peak frequency, but it certainly does not draw that much when idle. I'll update these numbers with measurements from the AL440b.
