I have CMUCAMv3, The issue im having is to do with scaling of the image, The camera is positioned directly above a level surface, I was expecting to get equal X and Y diameters for the circular objects however the Y diameter is always greater by a few pixels. Is there a setting in the software to adjust this?

You can only scale down by integer values. You can decrease one axis by 1/2 or 1/4, but it looks like you need just a minor scale adjustment. I would suggest doing this as a post-processing step.

    Hi Phil,

This has to do with the non-equal size of the pixels of the camera module. The OV6620 datasheet says the pixels size is 9 by 8,2 µm.

This ratio gives you the exact amount of scaling you need.

Thank you for pointing that out...this one would have probably bitten me too :)

    Cheers, Wolferl
